Hi.

Welcome to Everything Shyusized, where I write about travel, style, and everything in between. Hope you have a nice stay!

Restocking and a few new bits

The other day I realize that my Kat Von D Tattoo Liner was drying out, so I hopped on to Sephora immediately to restock my liner, and along the way I added a few extra bits in my shopping cart, of course. It's been a while since I placed a Sephora order so it was quite exciting for me!First lets start with the repurchase! I decided to switch things up a bit on the eyeliner front and ordered the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Mad Max Brown instead of what I currently have which is the Ink Black, because although I really love the black I also really want to try out their brown liquid liner just so I can compare. I also ordered the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eye Liner in Jet Black (I had the dark brown before, it has dried out) since I still need a black liner to replace my Kat Von D in Trooper. One simply cannot go without a black eyeliner in your stash. I did a little color swap there with the 2 liner and am excited to see how they perform! From my previous experience with them I can say that I like them both but I think the Kat Von D's applicator stands out between the 2, will see if different colors will affect my view on it.Then I got another Anastasia Brow Wiz in Dark Brown which I simply cannot go without and my current one is at the end of its life. I am interested in trying out the Taupe as I think the light, neutral color could work well and look very natural on me for days I want to look like I don't have a lot of makeup. Adding that to my wishlist as we speak...Now comes the fun new bits! I picked up the Too Faced Primed & Poreless Pressed Powder because I've been wanting to add a setting powder to my collection since I don't have any, and because I want to do my own makeup for my friend's wedding in September I needed something that will help make my makeup more long lasting. I really wanted something transparent that just sets and holds my makeup instead of a foundation powder with color, I'm really excited to try this and will report back on how it performs.Last but definitely not least, I finally picked up the Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder after hearing/seeing so much of it on Youtube and different blogs. The color looks beautiful in the pan and the texture is pretty smooth and buttery when I swatch it on my hand, but I'm slightly worried because when I swatch it on my hand the color did not show up as prominent as I was hoping, though I'm not surprised because standard bronzer/contour shades don't really show up on me for some reason (I just got matched with the Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in 7.5 for reference). Even though it didn't show up well on my hand, I've seen a lot of tutorials online of people that I think have similar skin tone as me using it and it shows up fine on their face and looks super natural with not a lot of blending needed, so I'm hoping that with a nice foundation base on the face the color will catch and show up better. Keeping my fingers crossed that this will work for me!
