Naked flushed

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetI’ve been reluctant to get bronzers because I just didn’t think it’s all that important because I am pretty tan as is, but the other day when I was looking at pictures of me out with my friends and saw how pale and flat my face look I knew it’s time to invest in one.

I got the Urban Decay Naked Flushed because it has bronzer, highlighter and blush all in one, and I figure if I’m going to start using bronzers might as well learn about doing some slight contouring as well.  I picked up the darkest palette “Strip” because all the other bronzers are too light for my skin, at first I was a little hesitant because the highlighting shade that came with this palette looks veryyyyy glittery, but when I actually used it on my face it looks so natural.  The 3 works amazingly together, the slight shimmer in the highlighter gives my face a little more glow and dimension and the brown-ish pink blush is perfect for my skin tone, using this palette enhance my features in the most natural way and gives my skin a healthy glow.

Using a bronzer and highlighter definitely helped my face look more dimension and features more defined.  And since they already paired all the colors together for you you don’t have to worry about if the colors will go well together or not, it is also great for the mornings where you’re trying to put on makeup when still half asleep.  I might want to try a more extreme contouring shade/kit in the future, but for now I think this is perfect.
