The adventure of my Birk style sandals and I

After getting these Tricolor Bio sandals, I thought to myself long and hard how to style them.  They’re really cute by themselves, but since they’re so chunky you have to be careful what you pair them with.  My style is usually loose fitting on the top and tight fitting on the bottom which is not really an easy look to pull off for work when you’re wearing less formal shoes, so with these sandals I decided to change that up a little bit.

Today I’m styling them with the Warehouse Elastic Midi Skirt, the Lou & Grey Criss Cross Tank and a chambray shirt from Target.  I really like how the midi skirt look with Birk style sandals, so it was a no-brainer to do that with my first outfit experiment.  To make it work appropriate I decided to throw on a chambray shirt to cover my shoulders, I tied it around where the skirt elastic band sits to emphasize the waist line, create a better shape for the overall look and at the same time elongates my figure.

I hope you enjoy my first post with my Tricolor Bio!  Stay tune for more styling experiment with them in the future.

yeah I love it! Good thinking. Wasn’t sure what kind of bottom to wear with birks that would be work appropriate at all..
