Don’t you just love getting these in the mail? Opening an online order from Sephora is always so exciting to me. They always put the samples on top and cover what you ordered with papers and hide them in the middle, so you have to go through a little digging to find out what the “surprise” is. The anticipation of seeing what you ordered in person is so exhilarating!
Sephora Collection Purifying Brush Shampoo – Since I’m getting a new (and my first real) makeup brush in this purchase, I decided to get a brush shampoo as well so I can make sure I clean my brush properly. I have yet to try it out, but will make sure to do an update once I do!
bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick in Speak Your Mind – I got this as one of my Beauty Inside rewards, since I was picking up the Moxie lip liner in the same purchase I figure this would be a good tester to pair with it. Although it claim to be bubble gum pink on the website, to me it is just a shade pinker than my natural lip color so to me it’s more of a neutral pink which is perfect because I’ve been wanting to try more pinkish neutral lip products as they make me look healthier. The color is rich and pigmented, and the formula is creamy and very moist so it’s easy to apply and keeps my lips hydrated.
bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lip Liner in Liberated – With all the nude lip liner rave going on on youtube videos and all the blogs, I decided to try one out myself. I really like how creamy this liner is, the color glides on easily and the color matches my lips very well. My lips are naturally a little bit darker on the edge so applying this liner helps makes my the over all lip color more consistence. I feel that this is a good thing, but at the same time I do want to see what I’m putting on my lips.
Sephora Collection Pro Airprush #55 – I’ve been wanting to add a brush to my makeup tools but have no idea what to get. Both Amelia from Liana Beauty and Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup have said good things about this brush on their blogs, so what better brush to get than the one recommended by my favorite bloggers? So far I’ve only used it as a brush for my press powder but it’s effortless to apply, gives even coverage, and the bristles are oh so soft and comfortable on my face! I plan on exploring it a little more with different products after I get a hold of how to use a brush properly.
