After shower body care essentials

I venture around when it comes to body lotion, I like trying different formula and experimenting with different scents. Though one thing is very important to me and that is making my skin feel hydrated for an extended period of time.I've been trying to find one that will work for me, ranging from drugstore to some more expensive brands. I find that a lot of the drugstore brands work extremely well for me and smells very neutral and comforting, so I guess the correlation of price and quality is not always positive? I personally prefer lotion over body cream because it's not as thick and easier to apply, it also feels lighter on the skin which I like.Currently I'm loving this Aveeno Positively Ageless Firming Body Lotion, the texture is spot on and the scent is pleasant but not obstructive. I do use it in conjunction with the L'Occitane Shea Butter Foot Cream because my feet tends to get really dry especially when I'm walking around the house on carpet bare feet. I neglected taking care of my feet when I was young because I felt that it wasn't necessary (it also made my feel slippery which I hate because I grew up in a house with tile and hardwood covering the majority of the floor). But as I get older they're starting to feel dry at times and I've become more aware of them. Taking care of your body is important, it's something my mom has always told me, I used to have selective hearing on what I should and should not care about, but now I'm definitely more appreciative on the different types of cream that are available out there!
